Garttmeyer Automotive began servicing my new 1987 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL when I purchased it new in 1987. They have provided excellent, expert service for my car for 36 years (and 34,000 miles). My car still runs mechanically (and looks) the way it did when it was new. The service has always been provided in a very professional manner for 36 years. Thank you Garttmeyer Automotive! !

Annual inspection uncovered a problem caused by age and weather in the differential. Had it repaired. Also accelerator was not working. Felt completely disconnected. Had oil changed too. Everything done to my satisfaction.

We’ve been customers of Garttmeyer Auto for over 20 years now. We began by bringing my old 1987 Chevy Beretta to them after a few bad experiences in the when we first moved to Paoli. Had a few overpriced and incorrect repairs that killed my confidence in who we were trusting our car to. But since then we’ve had a handful of cars, now currently with 4 (Mercedes GL450, Jeep Wrangler, VW Passat and a VW Jetta) with the VW’s to be used primarily used by our kids. We’ve found that bringing our cars to Garttmeyer gives us a HUGE piece of mind that they’ll keep track of all scheduled maintenance and will handle any repairs needed. They always make recommendations taking into account the cost / benefit of major repairs, knock on wood – as we’ve owned our last 2 cars forever (’98 Buick and ’98 Dodge Durango) both maintained & well kept until the last day we’ve owned them through 2016. I highly recommend Garttmeyer Auto to anyone who wants to keep their cars running safely and for the long haul!! THANK YOU Jim & gang for keeping our cars safe & running well!!

Thanks to Chris, Bob and the guys at Garttmeyer Automotive for taking care of a major issue we had with freezing brake calipers. We had our Jeep towed and dropped off to Garttmeyer Automotive. They diagnosed the issue and after a day, our Jeep rides and brakes like new, despite it being a 10 year old Wrangler. Thank you for another job well done!!
